Dance For Life is back. It is going to be wild!
We are so excited to announce the Dance For Life is returning in 2024!
We can't wait to see all the wonderfully talented teams show us their moves and dance in support of youth mental health!
Watch this space and we will see you on the dancefloor!
GET READY!
Dance For Life - JUNGLE has launched and we expect this to be our biggest and boldest iteration to date since it's inception in 2012.
Once again, we will be bringing the design industry together for an entertaining, memorable and high energy dance competition while raising awareness and much needed funds for ReachOut - Australia's leading online mental health organisation for young people and their parents
The feedback we received from previous DFL events has been overwhelmingly positive with the general theme being "..one of the best industry events we have ever been to.."
Watch this space.
It's going to be wild!
CONSIDER THIS.
40% OF YOUNG PEOPLE ARE EXPERIENCING MENTAL HEALTH DIFFICULTIES. IN AUSTRALIA, MORE THAN A MILLION YOUNG PEOPLE WITH A MENTAL HEALTH DIFFICULTY ARE NOT SEEKING PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. SUICIDE REMAINS THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH FOR 14-24 YEAR-OLDS. 75% OF MENTAL ILLNESS BEGINS BEFORE AGE 25.
The fact that this is our 4th year participating in Dance for LIFE is testament of our commitment and passion for this event.
The whole event is very well organised and audiences every year have commented on the professionalism and fun that they've had.
Design is a very competitive industry and we love the idea of dancing - off against our competitors all in the name of charity (of course!)
Not to blow our own trumpet but we've successfully taken out Best Costume award two years in a row and we feel the pressure this year to make sure we maintain this track record.
ReachOut is a fabulous organisation supporting young people in need, helping to save lives and boy that's worth dancing for!

Dance For Life was one of the most fantastic corporate event & fundraising experiences I have ever been involved in.
The evening was organised superbly with all parties involved very well coordinated, positive and enthusiastic. Everything was really professional right down to the food, alcohol, lighting, DJ, sound system, staging, green room, venue, judges and suppliers products were well represented. Friends and colleagues who attended were really surprised at the turn out and at how fun the event was. The fundraising effort was also out of this world for a very significant cause. Very Nasty Beats had a fantastic time at the choreographed rehearsals and fundraising within the office, complete with an in house dance off.
The event got a lot of exposure within the design industry, definitely looking forward to being involved again next year! Thanks to all (>_<)//.

Siren has taken part in two Dance for Life events and we have always felt we’ve got a lot out of it.
We see it as a real chance for us to give back to our community and especially to support worthwhile organisations who are really reaching out to those in need.
What an absolute blast we’ve had — it’s moments like that have brought our team even closer together.
When our choreographer walked us through our dance routine it blew our minds, but it’s just amazing how everything comes together and, on the night, the magic just happens and everyone is transformed! Incredible.
